Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is included in the price?

A. Our pricing is based on the needs of the client. The packages listed on the 'Packages' page include a mobile bar, up to 3 bartenders, and the alcohol needed for the event. However, we are able to tailor our services to fit exactly what out clients request. This includes bartenders only or full service. Regardless of which package you choose, we will always set up and break down and remove our trash at every event.

Q. What makes Full Tilt special?

A. Apart from how awesome we are as individuals, we pride ourselves in being a craft bartending company. This means that all of our mixers and juices are fresh and made by hand. We like to use the freshest garnishes as well. We do not use store-bought mixers and syrup (unless requested, of course!). This results in a higher-quality, better tasting cocktail experience!

Q. What size liquor bottles should I get?

A. If you’re serving liquor at your event, we can serve with any size bottle. Traditionally, we use 750ml bottles because of ease of use for our bartenders. We want your event to go as smoothly as possible and larger bottles don’t allow for pour spouts and make it harder to mix drinks. We do know it can be cheaper, however, to purchase handles. So if that's the case, go for it!

Q. Can Full Tilt provide the alcohol that I need?

A. Yes! We want your experience to be stress-free and as seamless as possible. If you don't want to go through the trouble, we can absolutely transport whatever you need directly to you. We do the work for you!

Q. How much alcohol should I buy?

A. This is a tricky question because there is no perfect answer. We always like to err on the side of caution and have more than enough rather than run out of anything.

Serving Sizes look something like this:

Beer - 24pk, 1/6th barrel keg (55 beers), 1/2 barrel keg (165 beers)

Wine - 750ml (4 glasses)

Liquor - 750ml (15 mixed drinks/shots)

1.25 drinks per person per hour will give you a good estimate of how many drinks will be needed (don't worry, we'll do the math for you). Ultimately, the best way to understand exactly what you should have available is a consultation. Call/email us and we'll be more than happy to discuss!

Q. Can I create a custom á la carte package for my event?

A. Absolutely! We understand that different clients have different desires for what they want served at their events. We offer complete customization of packages to fit your specific needs for your event.

Q. What if I don’t want to serve alcohol at my event?

A. No worries! We have a talented team of creative bartenders who are able to come up with tasty, well-balanced mocktails to satisfy any palate or budget. The options for non-alcoholic beers and beverages have vastly improved since the "Near Beers" of the prohibition era. You tell us what you want, and leave the rest to Full Tilt!

Q. What if I provide the alcohol and just need a bartender for the event?

A. We can absolutely provide you up to three bartenders for the evening, even if all alcohol is supplied and you just need someone to pour! What you need or don't need will be covered in a phone consultation so that we better understand how to provide the best service for your event.

Q. What type of glasses do you use?

A. For a lot of reasons we prefer to use plasticware for all of our drinks. They are safer, easier to clean and allows us to keep service more efficient. However, we do want to save the sea turtles, so we use compostable plastics. Glassware is available upon request.

Q. How much does beer and wine typically cost?

A. So, obviously, there is no exact number due to the fact that it depends on what you want to serve. Below we have listed a good estimate guideline for you to review based on the number of guests you have.

Number of Guests / Estimated Alcohol Cost

50 or less / $150 - 300

50 - 100 / $300 - 500

100 - 150 / $500 - 750

150 or more / $700+

Q. Are Your Bartenders Licensed?

A. At this point in time there are NO state or federally recognized licenses for bartenders.  Therefore, there is no such thing as a licensed bartender.  Yes, there are bartending schools and online course people can take to help further their knowledge in the area.  Although our team is ServSafe certified and insured, the problem is none of these are moderated or mandated and have no quality control.  What we can tell you is that the Full Tilt staff has over 25 years of collective experience across several different styles of bartending from the dive bar scene to fine dining.

Q. When do you arrive on the day of the event?

A. Typically we arrive 1.5 hours ahead of the start of the party. If your event is a wedding, we will arrive 1.5 hours ahead of the ceremony to make sure we aren't causing a ruckus when you're saying "I do".
